Wide Stylish-1Bedroom 1Bathroom -Las Letras

The location, the apartment had everything, it was immaculate and Minty was easy to work with.

It couldn’t have been better.

Very nice apoartment was spacious and light. Good airco which was necessary due to the temperature being around 32-35 degrees all week. All you need for a perfect stay. Close to lots of different means of transport, 4 of the major museums, botanical gardens, in walking distance of Retiro Park and the Major station for local and long distance trains, Atocha

Maybe laminate in the bathroom was not such a good idea. Don’t know how long the apoartment had been renovated but you could already see that there had been water under the laminate. With there being no door on the shower you have to shower as close as possible to the rear wall to stop water splashing outside of the shower. Also how the laminate has been laid seems slightly dangerous as there are gaps beteween some planks and the edges are quite Sharp. I caught my foot on one which was not nice. Also the Legs of the bed in the rear bedroom are quite Sharp and as there is very little space between the wall & the bed I caught my leg 3 times on it going to the bathroom in the night so have some nice bruises and a scratch

The apartment was nicely furnished and very clean. The location in las Letras was perfect. Very walkable to the metro, the train, Retiro park, the Prada and Regina Sophia museum. Also there were many great tapas bars within an 8 minute walk. We really enjoyed strolling the streets at night and visiting several of these tapas spots.

No elevator and after a full day of walking in 90+ degree temperatures, those 2 flights of steep stairs were a killer!

Very nice apartment. Very modern inside, everything works perfectly and looks very appealing. Comfy beds, a lot of space even for 4 people. Close to Atocha Station, metro and whatever you need. Reina Sofia just behind the corner. Prado and Retiro within a short walking distance. Super good contact with the administrator who takes care of everything you need.

Probably there were some guests with animals before us - my wife has an allergy and we guess that by her sneezing. Or maybe the aircon needs undusting/unmoulding (quite unlikely - there was no smell so clearly it is either new or well maintained). Also, it is on the 2nd floor with no elevator - no problem for me but if someone has mobility issues, this might be a problem.
