GP Estate Bungalow

We had a wonderful stay at Green Pastures Estate Bungalow, Munnar, located in the serene Suryanelli–Chinnakanal area, close to popular resorts like Club Mahindra and Sterling. What makes this property truly special is its secluded setting amidst a vast 300-acre estate with a beautiful river flowing through it, offering complete peace and a deep connection with nature.
 The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the home-cooked food was delicious. A special mention to Mr. Shone Mathew and his family, who were incredibly warm, hospitable, and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. 
If you're looking for a quiet getaway away from the crowds and commercial tourist spots, this is an excellent choice. The property is also pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us as we traveled with our dog. 
A few things to keep in mind: Airtel network coverage is almost non-existent inside the property and remains weak until you reach the main road. Jio works better but can still be patchy. However, the property provides Wi-Fi with sufficient speed for work and even Teams calls.

The approach to the bungalow is a bit adventurous, especially if you arrive in the evening or at night. The last stretch involves leaving the main road and driving about 300 meters off-road through the estate, which can feel a little intimidating at first. But once you reach the property, the experience is absolutely worth it.
