Mel the owner is great, warm and welcoming. The small personal added extras were a delightful and unexpected pleasure.The apartment was lovely, comfortable and views spectacular.
A little out of the way but if you enjoy peace and quiet (apart from the birds) this is for you. No cafes, restaurants or shops within walking distance but a great kitchen set up. Shower water pressure could be better and temperature control is very sensitive. The 37 steps to access the apartment could be an issue for some but did not worry us. No access to the actual water front.

The location and views from the bedrooms were great. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. There apartment was well supplied with all the essentials including a coffee machine and pods and good quality appliances. The host Mel was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and offered lots of information about cafes, restaurants and walks in the area. The bbq are on the lower level is very relaxing and well appointed and have great views.
There was no air conditioning in the apartment and only mobile fans are provided. We stayed when there was a heat wave and the heat was unbearable. I wasn’t sure if the apartment had heating which wasn’t an issue for us during summer. I am 6 foot tall and my head didn’t fit under the non-adjustable shower head. There are quite a number of stairs that you need to descend to get to the apartment so keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage and mobility issues.
