Kings cross Exclusive Residence 3BR

TLDR: great apartment, brilliant location, quiet, great host. Highly recommended! Generous sized, modern property, perfect for our group of 4 adults (one couple, two singles) with each having their own bedroom and 2 full bathrooms and one guest toilet between the four of us. The kitchen was well stocked and office more than enough dishwasher tabs etc. there is a washing machine but we didn’t use it. The seating area was good for 5-6 adults and the dining table more than adequate. The building itself was very well kept and everyone was friendly. The (shared) roof top terrace and lounge are really nice add ons and give nice skyline views, especially when everything is lit up at night. The location is rather convenient, ca. 10 minute largely flat walk from King’s Cross / St. Pancras (or a ca. £7 cab fare if you have bags or tired feet after a long day out 😉). It’s just across the way from the Coal Drop Yards (ca. 5 minute walk), which has a really good vibe about it (shops, restaurants etc). The apartment overlooks the canal, which is really nice. Although it’s close to the rail tracks, it’s astoundingly quiet, even with the window open. A coop next door allows you to stock up on any necessities, although tea, coffee, sugar were provided in ample quantities, along with bottled water. Finally, Zee who manages the apartment was wonderful; extremely responsive both in advance of our stay and during, accommodated our special requests perfectly and even came out to check something which was a result of a user error (I couldn’t get the balcony door to close fully). Would i stay again? Definitely yes. Would i recommend? Also definitely yes!

The below are not even first-world problems, they were genuinely so small I’m mainly mentioning them so others don’t feel stupid if they encounter the same! My only issues - and again, this is undoubtedly due to user error, and Zee did provide info on this and respond to my questions - we’re that: (a) I couldn’t seem to adequately manage the aircon to bring the bedroom temp down below 23C (19C is my perfect sleeping temperature 😝) and (b) it always seemed to take it’s an eternity to turn off all the lights because they generally worked on dimmers as opposed to simple ‘on/off’ logic (even though at first look the switches would simply be on/off). But to be honest, I lived in my own apartment for 15 years until I gave in and set everything up with Siri so that I didn’t keep pressing the wrong switch!

The only thing I did not like was that I didn’t have the time to stay longer. I wish I did!

good service, very attentive and flat smelt and looked fabulous. i was very frantic, the team really accomodated to my schedule. very thankful.
