Manzil Fanny Private Riad & Spa

Ondanks dat we maar één nacht verbleven, hebben we enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Vanaf het eerste contact voelden we ons direct welkom. Onze oorspronkelijke villa was op de dag van aankomst onverwacht geannuleerd, waardoor we met onze kinderen met spoed op zoek moesten naar een alternatief. Een riad was voor ons vanwege het parkeren en de kinderen niet ideaal. Er werd veel begrip getoond voor onze situatie en er werd echt met ons meegedacht. Dat hebben we enorm gewaardeerd. De accommodatie is prachtig, brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbreekt werkelijk aan niets. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk, gastvrij en altijd bereid om te helpen. Het verse ontbijt dat in de ochtend met zorg wordt bereid, maakt het verblijf helemaal af. Een speciale dank aan Houda voor de warme ontvangst, de uitstekende service en alle hulp. Dankzij haar voelden we ons direct thuis. Bedankt voor alles!

Helemaal niks alles was perfect!

1. The staff were amazing - they went out of their way to helps us in anything we wanted. For example they made the whole group a welcome Moroccan dinner catered to our dietary needs (as we were vegetarian) 2. The location and venue was amazing. Pictures dont do it justice. The layout, the decor, the huge rooms , pool etc - everything was great and to high quality, 3. The staff there made us feel at home - they even organised a surprise birthday party from my wife and even baked a great chocolate cake for her. They were constantly trying to please us. The food there was amazing..i still miss their home made harissa sauce.

This property is beautiful.. the owners Houda and Stephane have gone to great lengths to create an oasis of tranquility and calm in the centre of Marrakesh.. there is amazing attention to detail and the decor was full of tasteful character…the bedrooms were all equally gorgeous, which is great when you have a group and no one is disappointed… Samira and all the staff are so lovely and are always on hand to help or provide us with delicious breakfast and mint tea!! The riad is 10 minute walk to the Medina but has some lovely bars and cafes nearby away from the hustle and bustle.. it actually feels less touristy but is very close to the tombs and palace that are great to explore. I had an amazing massage while staying as it has all the facilities of a spa in-house which is an amazing bonus when staying here.. there is a lovely terrace with shaded areas and also places to sun bathe and a splash pool, perfect for really hot days! Houda and her staff went above and beyond.. meeting us at 3.30am when our flight was delayed arriving into Marrakech, organising taxis for us and had salads prepared ready for when we eventually got in… I could not fault this stay in anyway..I really do hope to be back!
