Spacious and safe environment facilitates my contemplation practices

Had to get used to stairs nearly slipped at the top, but when I paid attention to tread and spiral design which is different for me I live on one floor no stairs.

L'accueil chaleureux de Stéphane et Béatrice m'a beaucoup plu. C'est des échanges par l'être humain loin des boîtes à clé impersonnelles. La cuisine est comme chez soi où on peut préparer à manger sans problème.

Le WC n'est pas dans la chambre, il faut descendre au RDC et faire attention aux marches et à l'éclairage. L'hébergement est proche de la gare, un peu éloignée du centre ville. Pour aller à la basilique, on peut prendre un raccourci mais la cote est rude, attention aux genoux fragiles. Le mieux c'est d'avoir une voiture pour se rendre au Sanctuaire ou en ville.

Lisieux is a town with a very special atmosphere thanks to the Basilique shining on the hill and the spiritual footsteps of Saint Therese. I managed to visit all the important places connected to her life here, and I fully recommend. The house was very close to the railway station and just a few minutes' walk to the Basilique, Carmel and centre of the town. The owner of the house was very friendly, helpful, and nice. I greatly appreciate his giving me a lift in his car on a rainy morning. The room is very nicely equipped and cosy. Also, the garden and yard of the house and the view from the room were lovely.
