Charm, town accessibility, COWS! We couldn’t have asked for better during our stay! First and foremost the hosts took it above and beyond when we anxiously called them after getting a “shelter in place” alert on our phones due to weather and tornado’s. Without question they helped us with a plan to get access to the basement if we needed to, which from the two anxious mom’s with littles in the house it couldn’t have been more reassuring. Having kiddos with us aged 2,4, and 7 the house is about as kid friendly as it could be if that is something you are considering when booking! It’s within a very reasonable amount of time on the ATV if you are coming to ride on the Cheese Trail, along with bountiful parking, it is on quite a hill so bear that in mind! That being said the VIEWS from the property are something to be cherished! Overall great stay barring the weather hindering our trail riding, will absolutely be back!

We had an amazing time staying in the dead of winter. This historic little home was an amazing getaway from the day to day. It had a rustic touch with modern amenities and super hot water. You can tell the owner has put a lot of blood sweat and tears into making the stay for you perfect. The history of the home has been capsulated well with old photos and other information the they left behind. It was fascinating to learn the history of the homestead and it's ties to the underground railroad. I cant wait to visit in the summer and have a fire outside enjoying the seclusion with a few friends and my dogs. The farmyard seclusion of the yard had a charm that must be enjoyed again. Thank you to the host for the additional gift of local syrup and pancake mix!

Nice place, think we were the first ones to stay. There is room for improvement. Curtains upstairs, electricity upstairs, maybe ceiling fans in the rooms. Would hard to shower with 9 people and 1 shower available. Overall, our stay was nice. House was nicely decorated. They had a new grill there. It wasn't listed.
Downstairs AC unit is very old and made some loud noise while in use.
All pots and pans and plates, cups and ect were new.
Perfect for riding the trails. Good spot!

This rental is my new favorite! The property is very private, but yet not far from many restaurants and shops. Everything you need is in the home, and the personal touches are just great…as treats are provided that reflect on the history of the home. The owners have put so much time and effort into providing a beautiful, clean and organized home. And they have provided information about things to do and places to eat and shop in the area. I am excited to stay here again when I am in the area!
