Manoir de la Marquise

We celebrated my 50th birthday in this beautiful manor in Sézanne, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. Everything was exceptional. The manor, which we affectionately called our "Petit Château," is huge. On the first evening, we even managed to get lost while exploring it! Every bedroom has its own bathroom, making it perfect for larger groups. There is a spacious dining room, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful living room where we enjoyed glasses of Champagne together every evening. The manor also offers a billiard room, sauna, jacuzzi, and a large meeting room. The garden deserves special mention. It is beautifully maintained, surrounded by magnificent old trees, with comfortable seating areas, a barbecue where we prepared dinner one evening, and a charming fountain. The entire property provided the perfect setting for a photo shoot. Every corner of the manor and every room tells a story. The historical details throughout the house make you feel as if you are stepping back in time while still enjoying all modern comforts. The location is excellent. Situated in the center of Sézanne, a charming town in the Champagne region, we enjoyed lovely evening walks and dinners there. During our stay, there was even a local village celebration where residents gathered to enjoy Champagne together. It was an unforgettable opportunity to experience the authentic atmosphere of the Champagne region. The manor is also perfectly located for exploring the area, only about 40 minutes from Épernay, with countless Champagne houses nearby where you can enjoy tastings or purchase Champagne directly from the producers. We enjoyed every single minute of our five luxurious days here. If we ever have the opportunity to return with a larger group, we would do so without hesitation. This was truly a magical stay and an unforgettable way to celebrate such a special milestone.
