Great location, very central with parking available nearby. Lovely garden and outside areas. Plenty of space for a group.

We visited when it was very hot and were unable to utilise the two bedrooms on the top floor (roof conversions). The fans provided were not up to the job of making it bearable so had to share the other two rooms and downstairs sofa. Need more mirrors especially in the bedrooms.

A really lovely spacious traditional french house for our family of 6 (3 couples) in Epernay to celebrate a wedding. We all had our own wing of the house with bathroom so perfect. Everything we needed was provided. Made great use of washing machine & dryer after travelling for a few weeks. Loved playing darts. Very central location.

Have already passed onto owner but main bedroom could benefit from blackout curtains as very light during summer.

Great location - we were able to walk to the train station to travel to Reims, there were groceries and wine stores within 5 minutes walk. Spacious house - there were plenty of beds, bunk beds, etc for many people, but only in 3 bedrooms. The washer/dryer was nice to have. The outdoor garden was nice as well. The sheets and towels provided were white and clean.

The house is not well taken care of. It is very old, and the floors and stairs creak when you walk on them. The doors and windows are old with paint peeling on all of them (but they open and close and lock). There is no A/C, which is was very difficult in the summer (but we knew that). We found cobwebs in the corners of some stairs, in the living room, and in a few bedrooms (cleaning crew needs to do better). The freezer door was broken, so it had to be opened with two hands from the bottom. The shower head in the first bathroom was broken. The shower curtain rod in the 2nd bathroom was cheap plastic and was broken - it was precariously hanging on by gravity alone. The doors in several bedrooms do not shut all the way (the doors are warped, so the top of the door closes but it cannot latch or lock). The light fixture in the Living Room had exposed wires on the wall. The outlet next to the bed in the second bedroom did not work. The light above the stove did not work. However, the biggest problem was the ants we found all over the kitchen on day 1. We were able to kill them in the kitchen with insect spray we found under the kitchen sink. Unfortunately we didn't have proper cleaning detergent to santize the counters, so we used laundry bleach. I contacted the owner and he said an exterminator would come the next day while we were out. When we returned, we saw no evidence of any exterminator, but we did find many more ants all over the kitchen. We spent the next 30 minutes tracking the ants and spraying more insect spray to kill the ants from the kitchen to the hallway to the front entry to the front door. We then spent time cleaning the floor and surfaces with bleach. The owner was contacted again, who again told us an exterminator would come by, but its unclear if anyone did.
