I loved it

Apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and modern and in a great location, right in the centre of Tromso. Easy to get to all local amenities and close to pick up stops for guided bus tours etc, as well as the harbour.

It was so noisy. I understand it was right in the centre, however the windows were thin and so kept no noise out and we both had the worst nights sleep of our lives every night (and my husband can sleep through anything!) there was drunk people shouting to the early hours, buses going past and sitting right outside the window with the engine running, I came home exhausted. Also, to enter the apartment there is a key code on the door handle, however more than once we couldn’t get in (once we had to ring the host and they reset it) and more than once, we also couldn’t get out. It would say ‘motor jam’ and stay locked which I feel is a massive fire hazard.
