    This clean, well-maintained property a stone's throw away from the heart of Chishang offers the best of both worlds: the convenience of proximity to local eateries, cafes, and the famous Chishang sights like the Takeshi Kaneshiro tree, and the quiet calm of rural Taiwan. The rooms are very well maintained, including spotless bathroom (luxuriously soft towels!), and the staff is very amicable. A perfect place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of big cities!

    We booked this homestay relatively last minute. Due to a translation error in the Agoda app we erroneously thought the accommodation could provide a baby cot - despite this not normally being the case the owners did organise one from us to help us out. Thw rooms have a few stairs and aren't the most baby friendly but they provide baby guards and a baby bath which is nice. The accommodation is located in a quiet side road just at the edge of Chishang right next to the rice paddy fields which is just beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here. If we could improve one thing it would be that the accommodation could offer breakfast options- they have a beautiful patio outside with great views where breakfast could be enjoyed, whilst the options in town for breakfast were a bit limited when we were there.

    Ed and his sister are attentive and enthusiastic hosts of this new guest house. Ed literally ran to meet us once he knew we had arrived, and helped orient us to the property and the bikes and scooters. I think they're aiming for a nicer mid-range experience with the decor, but they still have a few kinks to work out before it feels like a great experience rather than just a good one.
