About this cabin rental
You can have it all. Rustic Modern cabin complete with views and privacy yet 5 miles from Chattanooga, TN. We hope you will enjoy our family’s get-away cabin that was built from trees harvested and milled onsite. The attached 400 square foot deck offers plenty of space for relaxing outside while enjoying views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Everything is close: hiking and mountain bike trails, rock climbing, vintage shopping, downtown attractions, restaurants and grocery stores.
The space
Welcome to The Mountain City Cabin — a cozy, hand-crafted retreat blending rustic charm with mid-century flair. Every inch of this 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin tells a story: the walls, ceilings, and floors are milled from trees harvested right here on the property. The result is a warm, wood-filled haven surrounded by sweeping mountain views.
Inside:
Step into an open-concept living and kitchen area bathed in natural light. Enjoy spectacular views through the large windows while admiring the cabin’s craftsmanship — from its natural wood grain to the custom red-oak floors. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to cook, dine, and relax in comfort.
Sleeping arrangements:
• Master Bedroom: King bed, full closet, and dresser — perfect for unpacking and settling in.
• Bunk Room: Sleeps up to 4 with a twin bunk bed and a pull-out queen sleeper — ideal for kids or friends.
Outdoor living:
Step out onto the spacious 400-sq-ft deck and take in the views for miles. Dine al fresco at the outdoor table for six, grill your favorite meals, or unwind with a drink as the sun sets over the mountains. It’s the perfect spot to gather and make memories.
Whether you’re escaping for a quiet weekend or exploring the trails and small-town charm of Signal Mountain, this cabin is your serene retreat — cozy, authentic, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.

The entire cabin and surrounding area is yours to enjoy and explore.
Our property extends all the way up to the 100 foot cliffs above the cabin. Take a hike up and enjoy some exercise and views. Let the kids throw the football on the lawn below the deck.
The driveway to the cabin is typical mountain getaway style. Long, windy and gravel. Our minivan makes it up but not without some tires spinning. You don’t need a suv or truck with lots of clearance as many small cars have made it up the hill but 4wd is definitely nice. 2wd drive pick up trucks struggle the most but can make it. Momentum is your friend. Side note, the parking area does have an ev charger if you have an electric vehicle.
