Shoreline Apartments - Unit 4a

Good location, short walk to coffee shops. Decently equipped unit.

There is NO CAR PARK allocated to this unit. There are 2 unallocated car parks which were both occupied for the duration of our stay. A phone call to the agent was made. She suggested we park in the public car park near the beach. That is untenable as my husband has limited mobility. We ended up parking on the street, fairly unhappy about this. So many minor issues and misrepresentations in the booking.com listing as well… - No compendium - SHARED barbecue and laundry - No hair dryer - Nowhere to hang clothes - Light over bed not working - Dirty wet towel on bathroom floor (I washed it) - Blood marks on sides of top sheet - Mouldy shower screen - Smell in shower A complaint email was sent to the managing agent who had the audacity to respond that we were disappointed BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING!!!! (the rain did not cause any issue for us). I do note that this is a new booking.com listing. Hopefully this message prompts some action by the agent - even if just a cleanliness check. And for goodness sake arrange suitable parking if you’re going continue to list this unit.

Position

No actual parking for guests due to limited undercover parking for long term tenants. You are told to park on the grass out the front if you are lucky to get a park out there.
