Four Seasons Lodge

Location was amazing the river view is beautiful very quiet and relaxing. Loved the decor and space for sitting. Bathrooms were very clean and comfortable easy to use. Plenty of utensils and things to use if you’re cooking.

Perhaps some fold away garden chairs to have a choose to sit on the balcony.

Absolutely gorgeous setting on the lake, amazing sunsets and just a great place to relax and escape!

The host was unresponsive and didn’t answer my questions prior to or during the stay. She responded when it was too late. I think the stay could be improved if the host thought about the “four seasons” - it was far too hot, the bedding was winter bedding. Aircon would be great, the big windows plus sun was intense. A table and chairs outside for alfresco dining in the summer would have been perfect. But I understand it’s newly rented out so hopefully it will only get better!

We loved everything at the lodge! The photos on the listing do not do it any justice. The lodge is decorated beautifully and to a very high standard. The bath robes and white fluffy towels were a nice added bonus. Perfect get away in the middle of nowhere just to relax and unwind. Our little girl loved waking up seeing the ducks every morning and the deers on an evening. Just stunning - would definitely recommend.

The only thing we didn’t like was the little flys that kept coming in and hovering around the window, but that wasn’t any fault on the lodge it was purely because it backed on to the lake.

Beautiful property and great location. It suited our group perfectly and had all the amenities we could need. The host was responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend!

The only niggle was there wasn't any mirrors in the bedrooms which made doing hair a bit tricky but easily worked around and did not affect the stay at all.
