Close to stations...responsive host. Very clean and nicely appointed.

Seperate bathroom although it was exclusive to us. Location a bit away from centre. But nothing major

This place was adorable and I ended up having it to myself. I loved having the full kitchen and balconies. Super convenient to the train station and metro. The shampoo smelled incredible.

Not complaints, just thoughts. The building itself coming in at night. It was sooo dark! I couldn’t see the stairs or front door. A motion light would be great. Maybe a bigger sign near the front entrance if possible. I thought I was lost at first. A guest book with suggestions on nearby places to eat, groceries, etc. Small fan for the bathroom. Small clothesline for balcony (though I used what I think was a towel rack which worked fine!) Instructions for the espresso machine and some powdered creamer. :)

Bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego i autobusowego i w odległości 15 min spaceru od starego centrum. Urocze mieszkanie - mini hotelik z 3 sypialniami i 3 łazienkami, czysto, nowe wyposażenie i co ważne winda w budynku . Drobny poczęstunek , kawa , herbata i wszystko co potrzebujesz w podróży ( nawet szczoteczki i pasta) . 2 przechowanie bagażu na tej samej ulicy. Właścicielka -Monia- jest w kontakcie cały czas.

I booked this property because I wanted to be very close to the train station due to several early train departures. For that purpose, the location was convenient. However, the immediate area felt quite rough and dirty. But honestly, I found that many parts of Catania had a similar level of litter and grime. Kitchen was well equipped.

One thing that initially confused me was the lack of a kitchen trash bin, only to discover after a couple of days that the bins are kept outside on the balcony. There was also no trash bin in the bedroom, which would have been useful. The worst thing for me was the bathroom. Although it is a private bathroom assigned to the room, it is located outside the bedroom. Having to lock and unlock the room every time I needed to use the bathroom quickly became inconvenient. Additionally, the bathroom had a persistent sewer smell coming from the drains, which I found absolutely disgusting. One small improvement would be providing two towels per guest instead of one. With the bathroom being outside the room, it would have been helpful to have one towel for drying off and another for wrapping hair, making it easier to avoid spending extra time getting dressed in the hot and somewhat unpleasant-smelling bathroom. There are no mosquito screens on the doors or windows, so avoiding mosquitoes largely depends on previous or current guests keeping doors closed. On my first night I woke up to find three mosquitoes in my room, although fortunately I was able to kill them all. I was also sensitive to the strong chemical smell in the common areas, which I believe came from plug-in mosquito repellents. Guests who are sensitive to fragrances or chemical odors may want to be aware of this. One other thing worth mentioning is that there was a very bright floodlight in the inner courtyard that shone directly toward the apartment. This is probably a part of the building's common areas rather than something controlled by the host, but it did make the room brighter at night than I would have preferred. Overall, while the property served its purpose as a convenient base near the train station, it is not somewhere I would choose to stay again due to the bathroom odor and my sensitivity to strong smells.
