High Trees Lodge - Luxury Retreat with 2 Bed King En-Suites

Lovely area away from town. Parking if needed. Detached. Quiet. Contemporary. 3 loos (useful one downstairs & 2 en-suite) secluded garden area (lawn). Firm beds if you like on the firm side.worth knowing there’s no handbook at the property, it’s all done in the links on one of the various e-mails auto generated.

Initial misunderstanding about finalising booking - if booking via 3rd party, and you haven’t scanned in photo I.d and provided credit card details by your due arrival you are probably not completely booked in. This caused a delay getting into the property which consequently wasn’t ready but quickly rectified. Basins are small, also showers - velux windows require blinds over beds. Have been told the latter is being considered but worth knowing in Summer months as it’s bright early. Couldn’t get terrestrial channels & Netflix - managed to get some others like iplayer etc. The ground floor windows all needed a deep clean

Nice and modern, all the things you needed were pretty much catered for Location was beautiful and close to the town by car and only a 30-35 minute walk to the beach

The showers weren’t adjustable Blinds in the bedroom velux windows so was woken mega early with the sun

The property was a beautiful, very clean and felt like a home for our short stay. Very beautiful area

Ideal for two couples

No blinds on Velux windows directly over beds, impacting on sleep Lack of attention to detail with kitchen equipment, only 4 each mugs, plates etc and no fruit bowls etc, broken corkscrew- luckily we had our trusty penknife. Towels certainly not luxury.
