Old Town 60m2 Suite on 2 floors next to Town Hall

The location was superb, and it was also nice to be in a historic building with extremely solid walls. The sitting room was comfortable and the downstairs bedroom was very quiet and dark - our son slept extremely well there. The kitchen had ample facilities for us to cook a simple meal.

The bathroom was a little tricky - the shower flooded extremely easily, and the first time each one of us used it, it was something of a shock to emerge to find the entire room filled with about half a centimetre of water. (This was something we experienced nowhere else in our travels through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). The spiral staircase down to the lower floor bedroom also had extremely narrow steps, making it precarious. It was fine for three able-bodied adults, but I wouldn't have liked to be in the apartment with a small child or an adult with mobility problems.

Siisti,puhdas. Kaunis sisustus. Erinomainen sijainti. Hyvä sänky,kun ensin otimme tyynynpäälliset pois ja laitoimme omat paitamme tyynyn ympärille,sillä tyynyt oli survottu liian pieniin tyynynpäällisiin, hyvät tyynyt muuten. Astiat ja ruokailuvälineet siistit ja hyvät,vedenkeitin niin täynnä kalkkia,että keitimme veden kattilassa kun ensin olimme jynssänneet kalkin pois niistä. Tvssä näkyi Suomen kanava 1,se riitti meille. Mukavan lämm7n.

Rappuset asunnossa erittäin jyrkät ja vaarallisen oloiset,ei sovi kuin erittäin hyväjalkaisille. Alimmat portaan piti mennä pylly edellä. Kaiteet yläpäässä huonosti kiinni,joten jos joku istuu ruokapöydässä rappujen puolella,voi kaatuessaan pudota suoraan alas. Keittiö oli ns keittokomero,ei tilaa oikeasti laittaa ruokaa. Kuivauskaappi toimi heikosti,alin hylly laseille ylin lautasille,mutta isommat lautaset eivät mahtuneet korkeutensa puolesta kuivumaan pystyasentoon. Suihku näytti hurjalta,kun lattia täysin tasainen,mutta verho piti kuitenkin veden yllättävän hyvin. Viemärin haju ainakin wc:ssä,herkenpi nenäinen tunsi myös asunnossa. Vihreät portaat kuvissa ovat rappukäytävästä,eivät asunnosta.

We loved this flat. Nice big lounge to chill out in, lovely big bedroom (really cosy downstairs). Great location for the whole city, the port, supermarket, etc..

The steps down to the bedroom are steep, but if I'm honest it wasn't a challenge really and added to the charm.

La cama que hay. La ubicación

La llegada fue caótica bajo la lluvia, pues no nos habían dado instrucciones para entrar. Las escaleras para bajar al dormitorio son muy empinadas, sobre todo para niños. Por último, habíamos reservado la casa para 5 y al llegar nos encontramos con una cama de matrimonio lista, un sofá con la ropa de cama oculta debajo y una cama plegable rota sin ropa de cama, debajo de la cual tuvimos que poner dos cojines para que la niña no se hundiera por la cabeza ni los pies. La casa es muy bonita pero necesita unos arreglos.
