About this house rental
Located in the heart of Parikia, just a short walk from the port and the beach, the House of the Arts offers a charming and inspiring stay in one of the most vibrant areas of Paros. The property features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 terraces, perfect for enjoying the view, relaxing, or diving into a good book under the Aegean sun.
The Azari Merchant House built in 1736 is a dwelling with an iconic cultural heritage. This unique residence is typically home to artists, writers, and university-level students of HISA (Hellenic International Studies in the Arts). When not in use by the program, the house becomes available for short-term rental—offering guests a rare opportunity to experience life in a place designed for creativity and reflection.
Situated along only some meters from Paroikia’s waterfront pedestrian walkway, the house offers an actively charged atmosphere—central to all shops and cafes, yet still with a fine sense of privacy. The setting is ideal for those seeking a lively, uplifting environment. With its history of hosting internationally recognized artists and educators, the space also embodies a thoughtful energy of learning, expression, and artistic adventure.
The home features bright, open interiors, an artist’s studio, character-filled common areas, and multiple outdoor spaces perfect for sketching, writing, or sharing a sunset meal. It’s an ideal retreat for creatives, academics, or any traveler looking to immerse themselves in a culturally rich setting.
