-The indoor hot tub and grill area remain temporarily closed.
-The main lobby entrance is being updated and expected to be completed, weather permitting, 4/8/2026. In the meantime, the East walkway is still available for guests to use to enter the lobby.

SunDestin is a vacation rental complex conveniently located in the heart of Destin, less than half a mile from Big Kahuna's waterpark. It is unmatched in terms of facilities and guest services: check out the two pools (an outdoor, heated, open-air pool) and the exercise room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, massage therapy, on-site restaurant, tiki bar, and gift shop, with a front desk staffed 24/7. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor.

We had a wonderful stay at SunDestin 909 and can already see it becoming a true 5-star gem once renovations are complete!The location is unbeatable—A. Right on the beach with stunning, unobstructed Gulf views from the 9th floor, it doesn’t get much better. Morning coffee on the private balcony was a highlight, and the beach itself is pristine and just steps away.The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a layout that worked perfectly for us. The front desk was always staffed by friendly, helpful personnel, making our late-night check-in seamless. Parking was easy, and the elevators were impressively fast—we never had to wait. The pool area bathrooms were also spotless.One minor inconvenience was the coin-operated laundry (2.50 each), as finding quarters isn’t easy—but we were happy to find a change machine near the front desk.To be transparent, the property is undergoing updates. The pool area is a bit dated but shows great potential. Construction started early one morning, but communication from management was excellent and made it easy to plan around. Pricing during this phase is very fair! Construction had little impact on our stay.It’s clear they’re committed to bringing this property back to life. With the updates underway, great value, and unbeatable location, we would absolutely return.This will easily be a 5-star destination soon!

This is a nice place, the furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has a nice countertop and appliances. This host does a great job.
