Sleek Midtown East Stay Near Everything

The Airbnb enjoys an excellent location within walking distance of the Rockefeller Building. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

That said, as the building dates back quite a long time, sound insulation is sub‑optimal. The air‑conditioning unit is an older model whose fan generates substantial noise. Guests who are sound‑sensitive while sleeping may want to think twice before booking.

El piso está bien, limpio, luminoso, las camas son bastante amplias y está equipado con todo lo que necesites.

La ventana del primer dormitorio (nada más entrar a la derecha, el más grande) es de plástico y se escuchar absolutamente todo el ruido de la calle (una avenida bastante concurrida con mucho tráfico). Debajo del apartamento hay un bar (La cava) cuya música retumba por todo el piso y es bastante molesto, puesto que hasta tarde no la quitan. El aire acondicionado hace un ruido exagerado, imposible conciliar el sueño (al menos en mi habitación, la primera a la derecha).

Great communication and instructions. Thank you. Location was very convenient. A true New York living experience in the city. Cool air conditioning and a nice ceiling fan to move the air in the lounge room area. Washing machine and dryer were easy to use.

Notes to be aware of: -Beds are comfortable but are on the soft side (which we like) just in case you prefer something more firm -There is no lift, so be aware that you will need to use stairs (including taking your luggage) -We were aware of the noise level and for a city that doesn’t sleep (including sirens and traffic) we had accepted this (we were able to sleep comfortably as a family group of adults), just be aware if you are sensitive to noise, have young children or travelling for business and are a light sleeper (the music beat from downstairs does come into the apartment, but it was tasteful tracks that we had no issues with)

部屋の真下にレストランがあり、初日の夜はイベントがあったようです。明け方5時までクラブのような音楽と振動が続き、寝ることができませんでした。 窓の気密性が低く、前述のイベントとは無関係に、通りに面した部屋は防音性が低い。エアコンの音がうるさい。
