Savoy 5

From checking in to checking out I could find no fault with this hotel. Friendly welcome at reception. The room was two flights up. As for the decor in the room, it was bright, light, plenty of space. I over looked the main road but that was not an issue. The shower and the bathroom were the same bright decor. The shower was very welcome in the morning as I had been out dancing the night before at the Ayr Pavilion (this what I was up in Ayr for). The staff at the bar were polite and welcoming too. reasonable priced drinks. The breakfast was help yourself and I most certainly did as it was a full Scottish delight of Haggis/Square slice/Black pudding/Bacon/Tins tomatoes/potato scones a choice of eggs and so much more. This set me up for my journey home. I will certainly be staying here again sometime next year. Plenty of parking if you drive here. I came by train.

Great location , very friendly and attached to a super Thai restaurant

Room was very small

Breakfast was excellent every day. Lots of items to choose from. Central location to everything

nothing

The bed was so comfortable just what you want for a one night stay 😁

The room was tiny and the bed seemed to be in the wrong place - all the sockets and switches were on the far side which meant they were unusable - the bed was up against the wall so had to climb over my husband to get out or go to the loo🤷‍♀️ just a very small room - but nice toilet clean and very comfortable bed so for an overnight great but any longer - no chance also advertised as having a 'view' ...erm view of a car park and a car parked right outside the window so not great expected better for over £100 for the night - good location and car parking not all bad but not what I was expecting from the photographs of the hotel ....
