Very modern, clean & cosy!

The bed was amazingly comfortable. The furnishings felt high end. We were able to park our motorcycle off the street.

The room is advertised as an apartment on this site. In N.Z. this would not qualify as an apartment. It is a room with an ensuite. This room would be good for a 1 night stay, if you don't plan on eating there. It has a beautiful high end feel, the bed is gorgeous but we found the room to be really overpriced for what it was and pretty impractical. We booked for 2 nights, we would've liked to be able to do something simple like warm food or slice something. The room comes with an espresso machine (which is good), 2 breakfast bowls, 2 teaspoons, glasses and cups and a tiny fridge. There is no outside area and it only has the glass at the entrance, no other windows. It has nothing to cool the room. It was hot and the fan was ineffective. While the wool carpet and furnishings were beautiful, we felt afraid to eat in there, least we mark something. The bathroom sink is tiny and we had to brush our teeth in the shower as you hit your head on the shelf over the sink. I have never complained before rating accommodation but we paid $270 per night and it just wasn't worth it and I rely on others feedback to help make choices. Lastly, THERE WAS NO T.V! If the bed was the only thing you planned on utilising, then this could be perfect 😆
