Amartya Villa by Betterplace

The property was lovely and clean. Pool was lovely. Housekeeping was provided and they changed the sheets. The location was easy to access Ubud centre via grab bike.

We didn’t enjoy that upon arrival at the property there was NO keys available for either of the doors which for three female travellers this was not okay and safety hazard meaning we did not get a proper rest. The property were aware of this and had not replaced them…. Secondly the door handle was broken and taped together which lead to a constant beeping form the automatic lock which drove us insane. These issues were resolved after alot of back and forth messages. The third thing the bathroom door locked from the inside in and the solution to open it was to snap the door in half with force instead of a locksmith which left us with no door for two nights. In the second night a bedsheet tapped to the wall was the solution which obviously fell down. 2 days later a new wooden door was installed but workers took 50 mins to do so as they were sitting on the bed and the ground looking at the door. 20% of ONE night compensation was given for all this inconvenience which I think should still be revisited but property do not seem to agree 🙃
