Escape to the heart of Shenandoah Valley at The Red Fox Den, a well appointed 3-bd/3-bath retreat, located at Massanutten Resort. Whether you’re here to hit the ski slopes, hike scenic trails, or unwind with family, this 1500-sq ft home offers comfort, convenience, and mountain charm. The home comes with high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a washer/dryer, and kitchen amenities. Massanutten's resort amenities: skiing, tubing, mountain biking, and an award-winning indoor water park - are minutes away.
The open-concept living area flows seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, so the whole family can gather for meals, board games, or a movie night after a day of adventure.
With three full bedrooms and three bathrooms, everyone can enjoy their own space and privacy. The primary suite offers a plush king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub—your private retreat after a day on the slopes. The second bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, and the third includes twin beds perfect for kids or additional guests. Each room is tastefully decorated with cozy mountain touches and quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The home comes stocked with everything you need for a stress-free stay: high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs with streaming options, a washer and dryer, and a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, cookware, and coffee essentials.

Sip your morning coffee on the private deck while soaking in the peaceful forest views, or unwind in the evening as you grill dinner and watch the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The resort’s incredible amenities are just minutes away—skiing, snow tubing, golf, zip-lining, mountain biking, mini-golf, and the award-winning Massanutten Indoor/Outdoor Water Park. No matter the season, there’s always something to do for every age and interest.

Community Rules
This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.
NOISE
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM — 7:00 AM.
Keep noise indoors during these hours.
No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.
PARKING
Keep all tires off the road.
Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host.
Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with written approval from your host.
OUTDOOR FIRES
High wildfire risk area!
No open fires.
No unattended fires.
No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions, check electronic sign at entrance for of the village for updates.
ALCOHOL

Clean up after your pets.
TRASH
Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.
Dumpsters are located just past 4003 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840 on the left in the rear of the owner's pool parking lot.
***Note: while we want families and friends to enjoy our mountain retreat, smoking, vaping, drugs of any kind, (including weed) parties, and pets are expressly prohibited. We reserve the right to fine you $600 per violation or ask you to leave the home if the authorities are involved.****

We had a fantastic family visit to Red Fox Den visiting our JMU student for Easter weekend. The location was perfect for Harrisonburg, enjoying hiking, adventure park, indoor water park, and local restaurants. Red Fox was clean and newly remodeled with all the amenities of home. The kids loved the basketball hoop and old Atari games in the basement. We loved morning coffee on the back deck with many deer visitors and up close views of the woodpeckers and cardinals. Dog friendly for our doodle with dog bowls, and a dog bed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The Red Fox Den was a great home within the Massanutten Resort area. It was very convenient to all the resort activities, restaurants and coffee shops. The home was family oriented, with big screen TVs in family rooms and BRs, and small pool table and basketball hoops. Red Fox Den was very clean, taken care of, and well appointed. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!
