Welcome to Shiraz Homestead Pokolbin – a luxury designer retreat set on our 5-acre Shiraz vineyard within La Capella Estate. This spacious 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home offers the perfect blend of elegance and comfort, complete with your own private 10-metre pool and sweeping vineyard views.
Two bedrooms feature a king bed (convertible to singles) and a large en-suite, and three bedrooms feature a Queen bed and 2.5 bathrooms.
Ducted air-conditioning throughout, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen make Shiraz Homestead ideal for families, couples, or groups exploring the Hunter Valley.

- Two bedrooms features a king bed (convertible to singles) and a large ensuite. Three bedrooms Features a Queen bed and 2.5 bathrooms.
- Expansive kitchen with Westinghouse oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine
- Spacious living area with smart TV (Netflix & YouTube)
- Indoor wood fireplace (wood supplied May – September)
- Private 10-metre pool and large outdoor entertaining area
- Gas BBQ with 12–14-seat outdoor dining table
- Ducted air-conditioning in every room
- Free NBN Wi-Fi
Bedding configuration:
2 king beds can be split into singles (minimum 5 days’ notice required for linen arrangements).

All linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee. Beds are made up with crisp white linen and bath towels are provided.
🍷 Weddings and events
The Homestead sits on the La Capella Estate Vineyard. While the estate can host weddings, Airbnb bookings are for accommodation only. For event or wedding enquiries, please find La Capella Estate online directly.
🚗 Parking
Plenty of free parking is available for multiple vehicles. If you plan to do a wine tour before check-in, please ask where cars can be safely left.

Enjoy the gas BBQ, large dining setting, and stunning vineyard outlook. The pool flows directly from the outdoor entertaining area — perfect for relaxing afternoons.

We’re only minutes from many of the Hunter Valley’s best wineries. Rover Coaches can collect guests directly from the estate for concert or event transfers — please check schedules with Rover Coaches in advance.

Please note:
- No parties, bucks groups, loud gatherings, or external guests.
- Maximum 10 adults permitted.
- No bands or speakers – we have other homes on the property and appreciate respect for all guests.
Other Things to Note:
🔥 Fires & Firewood: Indoor wood fireplaces are available only from the end of the NSW Easter School Holidays until the start of the NSW September School Holidays, in accordance with state fire restrictions. We generally provide enough firewood, kindling, and fire-starters for one night of your stay. If you’d like to enjoy additional fires, we recommend bringing your own supplies or purchase online via your boarding pass.
🏊♀️ Pools: Pools will be opened for swimming for the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.
