The Space:
This spacious, light-filled, one-level apartment is designed for comfort and style. Located on the second floor of a beautiful building steps from the lake and Hyde Park’s iconic mansions, this 5-bedroom, 3-bath home is perfect for families, friends, and group getaways.
The professionally decorated living space features soft, cozy tones, a 55" Smart TV, and large windows that fill the room with natural light. Enjoy meals together at the dining table or breakfast bar with two stools, and take advantage of the fully stocked kitchen — complete with coffee, cooking essentials, and more.
Each bedroom offers plush bedding and ample closet space with hangers.
Bedroom 1: Double bed, blackout curtains
Bedroom 2: Queen bed + Ensuite bathroom + desk for remote work
Bedroom 3: Queen bed + dresser and closet
Bedroom 4: Queen Bed + Desk setup

Hyde Park is a beautifully historic, intellectual, and culturally integrated area on Chicago’s South Side that operates with the distinct vibe of an upscale East Coast college town. It's a historic, highly walkable, and intellectually vibrant neighborhood that feels like a distinct lakeside college town nestled inside a major city.
Getting Around:
• The Express Train (Metra): Metra Electric District line is highly reliable and can whisk them into the downtown Loop in about 15 minutes.
• The CTA Subway (The "L"): CTA subway lines (the Green and Red Lines) do not pass directly through the heart of Hyde Park. To catch them, you will need to take a short bus ride west (like the #55 bus to the Garfield station) or walk.
• Buses & Rideshares: The #6 Express bus runs frequently along Lake Shore Drive directly to downtown. Uber and Lyft are highly available.
Other Things to Note:
Guests must use stairs to access the second floor of the building. There is no elevator.
We are pet-friendly - pets must be registered with the reservation. Guests are responsible for their pet, and any damage incurred will result in a charge.

The place was absolutely beautiful, there was a strange ball of mystery strands of hair on one of the shelves. We also did have an issue with the front door lock of the apartment, but the host was extremely prompt with replying.

The property was a fantastic location. It was very spacious and served its purposes. It was clean enough upon arrival and the bedding and bathrooms were very clean. There was enough space to move around comfortably. Host was easy enough to communicate with.The dishwasher was on its final leg which was a little nerve wracking. The toaster was broken which was disappointing especially because we had bought bagels for our breakfasts. The property advertised sleeping 12 guests. We had 7 sleeping and it was more than enough space and comfortable. However, we had 12 for dinner and there were only 6 forks. The kitchen was the least equipped property we’ve stayed in. We ate in both nights and luckily had most of our dinners pre prepared. However simple things, like a salad bowl or strainer for pastas weren’t there. Not expecting a stocked kitchen, but for large groups, the basics would have been appreciated. Some of us live in Chicago so it wasn’t hard for us to return home to get. Plan to bring your own if you stay.Some doors had broken knobs upon arrival. My recommendation is to document everything when you arrive.
