About this cottage rental
Major Lodge is a charming cottage in Newport, Pembrokeshire, which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. An excellent home from home, with everything you will need for a relaxing stay. Unwind in the conservatory, beautiful garden, or the patio area which is ideal for catching the afternoon and evening sun.
Conveniently located in the heart of North Pembrokeshire, the cottage is situated at the foot of a quiet lane which leads to the Preseli Hills and is only a short walk to local shops, galleries, the Norman castle and a great choice of places to eat.
Behind the cottage lie the Preseli Hills, with the summit of the nearest peak, Carn Ingli (Angel Mountain), an hour's walk away. The Parrog Estuary and small beach with its delightful coves and rock pools is only a five-minute stroll from the cottage through the village and towards the shore.
Newport has something for everyone with scenic walks (mountain and coastal), horse riding, fishing, sailing and an 18 hole golf course.
Major Lodge is an ideal holiday venue in Pembrokeshire, an area of stunning natural beauty offering long clean sandy beaches, secluded rocky bays and dramatic cliffs, ancient castles and iron age forts.

Major Lodge sleeps 7-8 in 4 bedrooms: 3 doubles and a room with a custom made 3/4 Queen sized bed.

Dining room: table seating 8, window work table and chair ideal for computer work

Bedroom: double bed, French doors to patio area
En suite: shower, WC, hand basin
OUTSIDE
Major Lodge has a large furnished patio area, from which steps lead up to a split-level lawned garden. The first level is partially paved, with tables and plenty of seating for relaxing or dining in the afternoon and evening sun. The second level is a large lawned area. There is also a secure external storage area with space for two bikes. There is parking for one car to the front of the property.
