Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. If you are looking for something off the beaten track, with peace, tranquillity, and amazing Balinese hospitality, this is your place. I stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was very well appointed, full of light and sunshine, and overlooking the jungle trees and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my every request. I even enjoyed a beautiful floating breakfast in my private pool, which made the experience feel extra special. The food was delicious, and the views of Mount Batur were absolutely stunning. I also used the spa for a Balinese massage, and it was pure bliss. It was so refreshing to enjoy such a serene atmosphere with no crowds of tourists, yet still be within easy reach of Ubud and Kintamani. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to be back again!

Such a beautiful Boutique property. The resort was exactly as pictured. Great location, 40 min taxi ride from Ubud, escaping the hustle and bustle of a busy city overwhelmed by tourists and traffic. The staff are friendly and attentive. My favourite was the breakfast fruit smoothies, different every day, and so yummy. Special mention to Emma, Yulia, Lenang and Musgi for their warmth and knowledge of the area. Sebatu hosts new restaurants and cafes, a lovely 20-minute stroll from Ellena Resort.

The moment I arrived at Ellena Resort, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was spectacular. I was greeted with a welcome coconut drink and was informed about the amenities. Waking up every morning to the view outside my room was breathtaking. I stayed in the largest villa with private pool. It had everything I needed and more. I ate at the restaurant “Papa Ubud” every day. Breakfast was more than filling and I enjoyed the fresh coffee and smoothies. I was able to rent a moped (which I highly recommend rather than a car) right at the hotel. The staff made me feel right at home even though I was halfway around the world. I was even able to meet the owner who was very sweet. On my last day I was invited to a once a year special ceremony in the village called “Mejarag”. After we were given a tour of the Luwak coffee plantation. I cant wait to book my next trip here. It was truly exceptional. Thank you 🙏

Our stay at Ellena Hilltop Resort Ubud was absolutely amazing, we could not fault it. Our villa was exactly as you see in the images, the staff are amazing especially Yulia, Musgi and Emma. The food was great, the views spectacular and an amazing way to experience traditional Bali. The boutique resort with only 5 villas made it feels like we were the only ones there, we would highly recommend Ellena Hilltop Resort for anyone considering a visit to Ubud.
