we enjoyed our stay here. staff were lovely and the room was clean and spacious. it was facing away from the road so is quite peaceful without any road noise. one thing to note is that there was a smell from our bathroom drain, which is also present at the pool area, so it seems like it is a problem with the sewage pipe of the property. The staff did apologise for it and tried to fix it for us, but the smell came back. also, the room window is facing a construction site, so it may not be ideal, but we usually keep the curtains closed so it was not an issue for us. overall, it was still a good location and the room was good otherwise. bed was also comfortable.

Firstly the hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Room was clean and comfy. Strangely no tea/sugar/milk only 3-in-1 coffee.
We booked so we had a pool to relax and sadly it was not fit for use - it smelt of sewage.
We were woken up at 8am by maintenance staff in the next room. Drills and power tools.
Staff were friendly but disorganised and bar service was poor - they had no tonic despite advertising cocktails.
We raised our issues with reception and were greated with blank faces and no concern - hence the review.
