    The hotel is nice, walking a bit distance to train station, environment is clean and staff is friendly.

    Staff were friendly and efficient! Bag storage and pick up was smooth and easy. Theres a 7-11 just downstairs and the largest capsule toy shop is just down the street. Also close to the cozy Nakazaki neighborhood with cute coffee shops. I tried to be smart to walk underground,thought it'd be easier for my luggage but turns out aboveground was much easier! Highly recommend!

    We had a great stay at the Quintessa Hotel Osaka Umeda. The location is fantastic, with Umeda offering everything you could want during a stay in Osaka, including countless bars, restaurants, shops, and even nearby shrines and attractions. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the check in process was quick and efficient. The hotel also had excellent amenities, especially the self service laundry facilities, which were very convenient during our trip. The room we booked was comically small, even by Japanese standards, but it was clean, comfortable, and still represented great value for money given the location and overall quality of the hotel.

    Rooms are too compact, so not good if you want to work in the room. My room was a double. I can’t imagine being in there with two people. It’s only good if you don’t intend spending any time in the room. Bathroom was clean and bath a reasonable size. It’s right by a busy road and rail line, so traffic noise is an issue. It’s close to the stations and Chayamachi which is convenient. Rates are reasonable, but there is nothing in the hotel, just a coffee machine and vending machine. Staff were polite and friendly though, so they get 4-stars.
