The Hana Suite by KPG - Melrose Arch

A few personal touches added in the apartment like morning granola and really lovely dates. The hosts were also very helpful when I had issues with the front door key.

It's a lovely apartment, well situated in Melrose Arch. It needs a few minor tweaks but really nothing much at all to complain about.

The hosts are now to short stay rentals, so quite enthusiastic and helpful. The position of the apartment is great and it has underground parking. The hosts were open to feedback on how to improve and seemed receptive so these may have been addressed.

I feel that in terms of value for money we're paying a lot and not getting a premium experience. The apartment has good bones but some maintenance issues like light bulbs, broken door handles, broken chairs and rising damp in the bathroom need to be addressed. The rooms are big and spacious, but is cheaply furnished with a very sparse kitchen (2 forks, 2 knives etc) - the linen wasn't great and while the bedroom has an aicon its a stand-alone unit that you need to open the window to let the exhaust pipe blow air to the outside which was noisy and clunky. Apartment had DSTV but it wasn't connected (kept getting error message on the TV saying it wasn't connected) - but host didn't know if it worked.
