Martello Duplex-1 Min Walk to La Preneuse blue Sea

Très bonne proximité avec la plage ! La terrasse couverte est agréable et les ustensiles de cuisine sont complets.

Literie peu confortable (très dure). La propreté est moyenne et le jardin commun manque d’entretien. La cuisine est peu fonctionnelle. Le mitigeur est trop grand par rapport à l’évier, ce qui fait sortir l’eau de l’évier. Le raccordement de l’évacuation semble également avoir été bricolé, ce qui peut entraîner des fuites ou des bouchons, notamment si la poubelle appuie accidentellement sur le tuyau d’évacuation. L’eau chaude est assez capricieuse, le système fonctionnant avec une chaudière alimentée par une bouteille de gaz. Enfin, le Wi-Fi 5G est plutôt lent.

Location was great as it was 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Secure parking onsite. Fabrice was excellent, very responsive and accommodating.

Shower temperature was variable, either extremely hot or extremely cold. We initially thought it was a boiler issue, but Fabrice sent someone out to check and it all looked fine. But the problem persisted. We adjusted as everything else was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Martello Duplex. The accommodation is ideally located, just a one-hour drive from the airport and less than a minute’s walk from La Preneuse Beach. We particularly appreciated the fully equipped and functional amenities, the spotless cleanliness, the quality of the bed, and above all, the peace and quiet. The covered terrace allows you to enjoy lunch and dinner sheltered from any sudden rainfall, and the garden is equipped with a barbecue, which we thoroughly enjoyed using. The proximity to the beautiful, uncrowded La Preneuse Beach is a real plus for swimming and watching sunsets. The nearest shops are less than a 10-minute walk away, and there are also a few restaurants nearby. A car isn’t essential, as you can easily use taxis or driver services to reach nearby attractions in southern Mauritius, such as the beaches near Le Morne, Casela Nature Parks, Tamarin Beach, Chamarel Waterfalls, and the Seven-Coloured Earth. We were welcomed by our host, Fabrice and his wife, who made sure we enjoyed our stay and was always reachable and available to provide any necessary information. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation and are already planning to return when we have the opportunity to visit Mauritius again.

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Es war super sauber und wurde auch während unseres Aufenthalts regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Lage ist wirklich optimal. Es hat uns a nichts gefehlt und die Überdachte Terrasse war besonders bei Regen ein großes Plus.
