The hosts make you feel so welcome in their home but at the same time you have your own space and privacy - the perfect mix! So much great advice - we loved the family and the location - we will definitely return

Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Plenty of parking right outside. Short distance from many interesting spots (Chamarel, Le Morne, Black River Gorge,...) and some restaurants and stores.
Filtered water available.
Didnt really know what to expect when we booked this place. It's definitely not a resort, you are staying in someone's house. Perhaps that's not for everyone.
The double bed is short. Im not that tall and my feet were over the edge.

The location was great, the host family was amazing, really welcoming - the best host family we've ever had. I definitely will come back to Artist house next time ❤️

The room was great, close enough to a small beach and close to a mall. Not much touristy stuff within walking distance but close by actitivities within a short driving (10-15 mins) distance
There was daily cleaning done as we had seen other properties. Room glassware and cutlery ware had to be cleaned by us when required. It didn’t feel like home stay.
