Terre et Mer - Studios - Ile Maurice

L’accueil de Laurent, il s’est montré disponible et nous a donné pleins de bons conseils sur Tamarin. Le studio proche de la piscine lui donne un super charme. Il est bien équipé et Laurent avait pensé à nous mettre à disposition du café et du thé mauricien. Nous vivons chez Laurent mais avons une entrée spéciale pour les studios.

Piękny apartament, studio , wygodne łóżko . Taras z bocznym widokiem na Le Morne. Spędziłem 5 tygodni w tym apartamencie i czułem się jak w domu . Raz w tygodniu sprzątanie , naprawdę dokładne a także pranie raz w tygodniu. Właściciel mieszka obok i jest to bardzo miły i pomocny człowiek . Blisko super centrum handlowe . Potrzebny jest samochód . Dobre wyposażenie apartamentu. Mocny internet . Podczas pobytu był cyklon , właściciel był cały czas zaangażowany w pomoc i przesyłam informacje jak wygląda sytuacja. Mocna i sprawną klimatyzacja .

Żal było wyjeżdżać

I was intent to work during the day, so it was important to me to have internet and electricity with good quality, it was all good and even plugs was with EU adapters everywhere, so don't waste money to buy one. It was a cleaning once a week which is also good! I had amazing view from terrace and could see the sunset colours. Birds was singing nicely and exotic turtle is living there in the garden, so it is fun for kids, I think. Supermarket is on walk distance and french bakery is around the corner. I like that it is not very loud and you can see starts just outside the studio. Hot water and shower was good. All you need in a kitchen and fridge if you have this kind of studio and I recommend this if you love ro cook fresh fish of the day from local Catch of the day shop. I had full support if I would have any questions from property owner, thank you, Laurent! I would say, definitely you can survive without car in this area, but you will enjoy Mauritius more with one. I didn't use swimming pool much , but it is clean and beautiful with small space around to chill in chairs. I bet you have to try diving, and whale watching in this area, as Black River is all about it, and big fishing game, and sure go for a walk as locals do at the very early morning to look and crabs, meet the sunrise and enjoy almost empty beaches with shallow water , good for swimming with mask too. I m already want to be back in this studio)

Hosts were kind and helpful, delivered us a coffee maker and kept us informed about the coming storm. London way super market was in walking distance. Good AC!

The swimming pool was not inviting. Not possible to swim and there was some kind of vacuum cleaner in the pool all the time. Was little disappointing as from the pictures in booking.com gets the image that there is a proper swimming pool, not just for sitting there. The view from our balcony was not pretty. Otherwise just the yard and hardly can see the ocean far away. Our apartment was very dark. It was basement- kind of room. Dogs outside the room kept us awake few nights, barking. The location was not ideal except if having a car. WIFI was too slow. It was difficult to do our studies, not to mention watching movies was impossible. Only one toilet paper for a week stay, no soap in the toilet, didn't get warm water in the shower.. We felt this place was overpriced. Value for money was not good. We honestly were disappointed. In the pictures and comments we got really excited and were ready to pay little more then our prior apartment, but our prior apartment was actually better and a lot cheaper..
