I’ve stayed in countless hotels and high-profile accommodations over the years, but I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a place quite like this—especially one so far from home that still manages to feel like home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine care by the wonderful hosts, Mr. Paul and Miss Lydia. They are truly exceptional—attentive, kind, and always going the extra mile to ensure every guest feels comfortable. Mr. Paul’s love for chess adds a charming, personal touch to the stay, while Miss Lydia occasionally prepares the most delicious homemade meals—her chicken dishes are simply unforgettable. What sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s not just a guest house; it’s a space where you feel valued and at ease. The kitchen and dining area are spacious and inviting, with a large dining room that encourages a homely, communal feel. Guests are even provided with free food, which you can cook and enjoy at your leisure—something you rarely find anywhere else. The room itself is a perfect getaway—cosy, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything you could need. From a personal dining table to a smart TV, heater, Wi-Fi, fan, and even your own mini fridge (always generously stocked with snacks by the hosts), every detail is carefully considered for comfort and convenience. The property also features a beautiful garden and a peaceful fish pond, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Other rooms in the house are equally well-equipped, each with their own shower, ensuring privacy alongside the shared warmth of the home. Considering everything that’s offered, the value for money is simply unbelievable. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in London.I ended up staying here for almost a month . A solid 10/10—highly recommended.
