Welcome to Pelican’s Perch – our cozy beachside retreat with ocean views! Perfect for families and friends, this 4-bedroom + loft, 2-bath home is just steps from the sand, making it easy to spend your days playing on the beach, building sandcastles, or strolling along the shoreline.
We’re just a short walk to downtown Rockaway Beach, where you’ll find local shops, treats, and restaurants, and Twin Rocks is nearby for a classic Oregon Coast experience.

The house itself was fine. The beds were comfortable and basic amenities were there. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived and ended up having to be refilled the day after we arrived, rendering it useless for more than 2 of our 4 days there. There were no welcome materials to explain the house. There was no WiFi information provided and no instructions on using the hvac. The house is really old so it’s a bit quirky (totally fine) and it would have been nice not to blindly try to figure out how to get the heat to work. Especially since when we arrived it was so cold we had to keep our sweatshirts and shoes on just to stay warm and my kids slept in sweats and beanies the first night. Hosts were responsive but didn’t really go above and beyond at all. Though they did make sure to provide abundant details regarding what guests need to complete prior to checkout. It was altogether a bit disappointing considering the biggest reason we chose the house was the hot tub and it was out of commission a majority of our visit. Had I known at the time we could have reached out to vrbo directly to be relocated, I absolutely would have, but at the time we felt sort of stuck.
