About this house rental
Belle cottage is a newly constructed detached property with private garden which offers everything to relax in a stylish and calming space. The house is owned and hosted by Ian & Lindsey, who live next door in Church Cottage. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one offers a double bed, the other bedroom consists of 2 single beds which can easily be put together to make another double. Upstairs you'll also find a spacious shower room with a toilet. Downstairs features an open plan kitchen, dining and living room and a separate toilet in the hallway. The kitchen opens at the rear to a small patio area and grassed lawn.
The rear garden is fenced off completely, making it safe for small children. It is south facing so you can enjoy the sunshine all afternoon.
There is provision for 2 cars on the drive at the front of the cottage. Belle cottage is within walking distance of the village which has a quaint local pub (The Chance Inn), large playing fields with equipment for children and several cycling and walking routes for the sporty individual across the village into the idyllic Kent countryside. The property is opposite the local farm so the sound of an enthusiastic cow and wandering ducks can be part of the experience when enjoying the outside areas. The property is conveniently located within a 4-5 minute drive to Dover Castle (English Heritage), 5 minutes to Dover port and 20mins to the Eurotunnel, making it an excellent location for a stop over to the continent or to begin/end your English encounters. The charming seaside town of Deal (15mins) and historic Canterbury (20mins) are both within driving distance. Likewise, Belle Cottage is very close to the small town of Sandwich (20mins) with its beautiful boutiques and where a range of superb golf courses can be discovered, including England’s No1 course, Royal St Georges.
We have a strict NO pets and NO party policy. If travelling with very small children, there is a high chair and travel cot available, please request this if needed
