Beachy Keen is one of Avon's best-kept secrets. Enjoy a hot tub, a top deck with panoramic ocean views, and a luggage lift to make unpacking and getting your vacation started a breeze.

You won't have to leave any of the comforts of home behind; this rental has an open, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar that opens to an ocean-view dining area. There is even a private laundry area, so you can pack light and a cargo lift to make moving your things a breeze.
The top level opens to a lovely great room with a cathedral ceiling and warm furnishings set around the entertainment center. A spacious furnished sundeck boasts beautiful sound and ocean views. Two of the four second-floor bedrooms are oceanview and have access to exterior sundecks. The third bedroom is a bunk room, and the fourth has a TV. The last bedroom is on the third level and has a shared bathroom and deck access.
This home is located on a quiet road and is just a quick walk to beachfront access. After a day at the beach, you'll be able to make use of the elevated first level's convenient outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.
No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs allowed for additional fee.

Beach Keen was a great house! It was very clean when we arrived and had a fresh sent throughout the house. New carpets were very nice throughout the house. All beds and couches were very comfortable! Kitchen was well equipped and lots of counter space! Lots of steps though to get up to the house. Close walk to the beach. We will be back!!

We loved being down in Avon, away from the hustle and bustle of the more built-up parts of OBX. The house was perfect for our family of seven, with plenty of room for all. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans, and cooking utensils (albeit a bit well-used). The kids loved the hot tub and how close we were to the beach. We will definitely rent this house again.

Beachy Keen was a great stay in a good location. We watched 4th of July fireworks from the deck and it was great!

Pros: AC worked, water pressure was good, , luggage lift was a plus, outside shower was nice, house was relatively clean, it is a short walk to the beach.
Cons: grass/yard hadn’t been touched in months, 1 outside trash can for a 9 guests filled up on day 2, kitchen was old, outdated but adequate, carpet is old and carpet at a beach house in general is never good. (LVP flooring is cheaper now and easy to install) The place smelled weird and old until WE bought Glade plug-ins but we left them for the next guest(s). Inside lighting was poor, bedrooms are tight with antiquated furniture.
But this is a basic beach house for the price you pay. We had a nice week overall spending most of our days on the beach or fishing at the pier. This is why we come not necessarily for the beach house.
