There is no comfort like Southern Comfort! Located on the sound-side in Avon, and within walking distance to restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and local shops, this home offers every creature comfort your heart desires right at your fingertips. The ground level has a large fenced yard, concrete parking, and a carport. Around back is a cool rectangular private pool with chaise lounges and a play yard. A steamy hot tub and patio dining table furniture will also keep everyone in the group relaxed and entertained. A full outdoor bathroom near the pool and hot tub add to the convenience. The amenities carry over into living level one where you will find the fully loaded game room with a pool table, electric fireplace, kitchenette including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, and a Plasma with Blu-ray and iPod connection to the audio system. The nearby theater room has comfy leather seating, a 100-inch screen, and a top-of-the-line surround sound system. Bedroom one is a primary with a queen bed, TV, and deck access. A half bath and a laundry room are also located on this level.
The second floor has four extra-large, bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bath, a TV, and deck access. Bedroom two has a pyramid bunk. Bedroom three has a queen bed. Bedroom four has a king bed. Bedroom five has two pyramid bunks. A half bath is also conveniently located on the stairwell landing of this floor. Level three, with the large, airy great room, is a favorite gathering spot. The living room with a gas fireplace and a TV is anchored with a plush sectional and matching sofa. The natural light flows through the many windows in the dining area with a large table for family meals, while additional seating can be found at the breakfast bar. Two additional primary bedrooms with king beds, private baths (one with whirlpool tub), a TV, and deck access round out this level. We absolutely loved this home! The reviews made us leery but we decided to book and hope for the best. When we pulled up we can see that the reviews held true about it needing some TLC to the outside but we didn’t mind. However we also noticed there was a brand new deck on part of the home (which was great). The space this home provides and every single bedroom having a bathroom was incredible! We had 3 families (11 people + dog) and so much privacy and room to spread out! The theater room and pool table was a fan favorite. We also loved the pool and how clean and nice the furniture around it was. The outdoor bathroom was handy too. The hot tub was great and the elevator was SO incredibly handy for bringing things up! The living room seating area was perfect and so was all the barstools, dining room table etc. we liked all the bedrooms accessed outside to the deck! We enjoyed walking down the street to restaurants & ice cream! We will be back!

This rental was a great place for our large family to stay in. It had everything we needed and enough space for everyone. While it could use a good amount of cosmetic work and some extra cleaning, it made us feel comfortable. We weren’t afraid to be our imperfect selves. The property manager was incredibly accommodating . Every question we had was answered promptly. And when the elevator broke down on the last day, they worked hard to accommodate pit family member who is handicapped and cannot do stairs. We recommend this place for a vacation where you want to relax, especially in a home where you don’t feel out of place.

This was a great spacious home for our first family vacation. We were traveling with a large party and one small dog. Everyone had their own space to rest and relax and then there was plenty of community space to come together. The deck and balcony areas are amazing filled with plenty of seating. It really fit all its needs. We aren’t the perfect family and this place did not make us feel intimidated- we felt we could live in it And the kids could be a little messy and wouldn’t hurt anything.
The property managers and company were amazing and should receive more than five star. They were responsive with all issues we had. On our last day, our elevator broke and they tried for hours to fix it. It was impotent because one of our guests is in a wheelchair. When they couldn’t fix it, they came up with a plan and communicated effectively. They truly cared about us and our stay.
We wish check in wasn’t so late and check out wasn’t so early. You truly lose a full day or two of the time you are paying for. We would also recommend providing some shade at the pool area.
Overall, would recommend this place to families and would stay again.

This home was huge!!! We easily fit 19 adults and kids. Interior was in great shape with newer flooring , beds and couches. Media room was fun but a little hard to use but we figured it out.
