Lazy Dynamite cottage provided a perfect 3 night beach getaway. Comfortable beds and sofa, great outdoor gathering spots, well equipped kitchen, and nice bathrooms were so appreciated. The outdoor shower was WAY better than a hose!😊. Just a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Great Thai takeout nearby and just a short drive to Fishy Fishy in Southport. We plan on returning to Lazy Dynamite and include my sister and brother-in-law since the cottage is so spacious. Oh, and we absolutely loved the eclectic artwork at Lazy Dynamite. It was a memorable vacation!!

We just spent a week in this house, and had a really great time! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient and the kitchen was large enough for our family. The pool was really nice to have, next time we would bring a tent or umbrella, so it could be shaded in the afternoon since it’s in full sun. Convenient location to beach access and close enough to hop on the golf cart to ride into the main part of the island for ice cream or the park. Really nice house, very comfortable, we have already booked next year stay!

The location of this property is nice with a quick walk to the beach. You will have road noise from Oak Island Dr. however we didn’t feel it was bad when inside. We did not use all the rooms as it was my husband and I so we used main level. Good space, nice open area. However, the furnishings are not arranged like the photo and do not make sense. The sofa is so far from the TV. It looks like a bit of a dumping ground for furniture at this time. It is probably also time to replace the refrigerator as the ice maker is so loud it wakes you up at night.
The front and back patio are lovely to have access to just be aware of the road noise. Walk to the beach is about three minutes, great access. Overall in my opinion the property was ok overall, great on location, poor on overall feel, ok on value, owners just need to stop by to give some TLC (good clean and maintenance). I hope this helps.
