Chic Studio Auto Check-In, 15 Min to Central

Had a bit of a struggle finding the property and checking in, however.. It was super easy once we realised that we were given slightly back to front instructions. But they were really understanding with my friend being unwell at check out, so couldn’t be more grateful.

The window didn’t stay open, so we had to use towels to keep it wedged open. Having to pay an additional fee for in order to check in and fresh bedding was an unusual experience, but for the price of the whole stay I couldn’t grumble.

I recommend it if youre going to an event at wembley stadium, just need to take one bus and walk like 10min, and its the opposite way from the bug crowds leaving wembley. Dont recommend it for sightseeing because its quite far from the center

Podchodziłam bardzo sceptycznie do zdjęć pokoi. Ale przekonałam się że faktycznie bardzo dokładnie oddają rzeczywistość. Było czysto i elegancko. Wstępne zameldowanie i właściwy check in przebiegły bardzo sprawnie dzięki czytelnym wiadomościom od hosta. Posesja faktycznie jest tuż przy głównej ulicy, ale mi osobiście ani trochę to nie przeszkadzało. Przez ściany niósł się czasami dźwięk z sąsiednich pokoi , ale przy wzajemnym szacunku współlokatorów to żaden problem. Okolica też całkiem znośna. Śliczny mini ogród z dzikich roślinek tuż przy posesji. Łatwa komunikacja z centrum Londynu ( około 20 minut jednym autobusem)

Bit of a mixed experience at this property. First, it seems to have been recently renovated so looked very new; the shower room was spotless and had real ceramic tiles on all walls and floor, and a new electric shower. Bed was also comfortable, on the firm side, and little kitchenette had a good size fridge (but no cooking facilities). There's a neat double entry system for security - code for the main door, and the room key on an extendable wire inside a key box - so you can't forget it in the room or lose it outside as it's not removable. Just remember the room needs locking up with the key when you leave! I had some issues (see below) but the customer service experience was superb - available seemingly 24/7, but certainly I was communicating with them (via text) at 11pm and there was always rapid replies. Moreover, the owner came out to review one of the issues I had the following day. So cannot fault the approach to service. Location was also good - 30 mins by bus to Euston, with a Tube station as well (buses more frequent though, every 10 mins or so). And overall the property was pretty quiet for central London near a main road.

I had some niggles with my room. They are all small ones I think, but noted here for the full honest review (and a record for the owner). First, the window was stuck open and almost impossible to close (the issue the owner came to try and fix, but not completely). I had to effectively force it closed to block out some of the noise and potential flooding due to expected heavy rain. I did this in communication with the customer service people at 11pm on the first night - and took some significant physical effort that some customers might not have managed. My guess is a previous guest had broken the window mechanism in the high heat in London before my visit. Second, there was an atrocious smell in the shower room the first night - no idea why, but it dissipated after the owner's visit so not sure if they fix something. Also, the shower room light was broken so it came on and off without the switch being touched - meaning i had to manually turn off the extractor fan to avoid more noise overnight. And the thermostat in the new shower was not adjusted correctly so it had to be at between 9 and 10 (ie max) heat to get any warm water at all, but was also over sensitive to being moved (resulting in cold water). Lastly, there was no plug in the 'kitchen' area so the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor under the TV, which was a little bit odd.
