Holla Villa Kintamani

We enjoyed our stay at Hola Kintamani. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning, with Batur Lake right in front of you — waking up to that scenery was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The private jacuzzi in the front yard is another big plus. Sitting in the jacuzzi while enjoying the beautiful lake and mountain views was such a relaxing experience. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, especially if you want to enjoy the scenery and have a relaxing getaway.

While we really enjoyed our stay at Hola Kintamani, there are a few things that could be improved. The bathroom definitely needs more maintenance. There was already some mould starting to appear, and overall it could have been cleaner. The hot water supply was also quite limited — the tank was enough for two people, but definitely not three, even though we were quite conservative with our showers. The towels were another issue. They didn't feel particularly clean and were a little damp when provided. We also didn't receive fresh towel replacements on the second day. One other thing worth mentioning is the front door key. It felt unusually thin and fragile, and unfortunately it broke during normal use without any intention on my part to damage it. I was initially unhappy when I was asked to pay for the replacement, although I do appreciate that the management eventually decided not to charge me. Overall, the villa has great potential, but some attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and basic amenities would make the experience much better.
