Location worked for our holiday plans, but expected more from the accommodation.
Convenient location for the places we wanted to visit and also close range for multiple shops to get supplies. Private parking was a plus but not a lot off space to park. (Small/medium car) Easy and early check in option is great. The bed/livingroom was up to date and nicely decorated.
The accommodation is joined to the Owners house by 2 locked doors. (One in the kitchen and one in the living/sleeping room) There was zero soundproofing and we could hear every conversation they had, and even at certain points kids screaming, doors banging, people moving around. (This also happend past midnight sometimes.) This made us feel like we needed to whisper or play the tv for a form off privacy. The accommodation filled daily with strong food smell via the door linked to the Hosts kitchen. I understand this is the Hosts private space, but better separation/soundproofing would have made the stay more private and pleasant for us. The kitchen looks dated but not to bad for us. (Did not really use it) The bathroom was very dated and "damaged" (Broken tiles, water damaged cabinets and a little dusty) The heating in the accommodation was inconsistent and sometimes even made weird noises (Like whistling or banging) Also the extractor in the kitchen made noises when there was wind outside. (sounded like planes flying over when you were trying to sleep.)
