Great location quite close to the cathedral Air Conditioning worked really well to keep us cool in scorching temperatures.

Einziger großer Nachteil war, dass das Haus, in dem sich das Apartment befand, sehr stark befahren war und man deshalb den Lärm selbst bei geschlossenen Fenster noch gut hören konnte.

A localização é excepcional! Na gran via! Lugar seguro e limpo. Bem central e próximo da catedral. O local é charmoso e seguro. Acomodou bem nossa família. Foi fácil e receptivo o contato com a administradora do apartamento.

The apartment is big. The view from the terrace is superb.

Windows and patio doors don't lock, the are draughty and allow some street noise . The sun shade on the balcony is broken. There is a bad drain smell which we tracked down to the kitchen sink, we put cleaner in it but the smell was still quite strong. Hot water was a proper pain, up to 15 minutes of running the water before it gets hot. I called the vendor about this because I thought the hot water wasn't working and was advised up to 15 mins before it gets hot. Inconvenient for washing hands and dishes. Showers needed to be planned, getting up extra early to run the water for showers isn't ideal. Also had to fix the shower head in one of the bathrooms, most of the water was coming out of the back of the shower head, i unscrewed it and put the washer in the correct way around, problem solved 😉. Master bedroom, making the assumption this backs on to another let property's kitchen ( saw the hen party leaving one night 😬) Could hear chairs scraping across floors and knocking/ thumping until the early hours which is a great way to lose sleep! Memory foam mattresses. Although the beds are comfortable, because they are memory foam it is a little bit like sleeping on top of a heater. Also, no double bed. Both bedrooms have 2 singles pushed together The door to the apartment has no sound proofing so you can hear next doors' small, yappy dog . The sofa in the living room isn't comfy to sit on, or kind of tips you off the front of it. No condiments, salt, pepper, oil etc. Not a huge thing but most apartments have these things for guests. There was coffee and sugar but had to raid the cupboards to find these. There were a few areas that could have been cleaner, dusty bathroom radiators, fancy gold coloured legs on the dining table could do with a wipe, there are fingerprints / marks on them. It's not the worst place I've stayed but for the money is expect better.
