A Quiet Bright & Stylish Family Home

Celina the host was quick to reply to messages. The house is big and spacious. Rooms are decent size, queen size beds in most rooms. The backyard is big and very nice.

The location is in rural Victoria which is far from city and airport. Public transport isn't that easy. The kitchen isn't well equipped to accommodate 10 guests. Only 4 cups and 2 forks provided for 9 people staying over, (Celina did bring more forks the next day and were told to buy cups and they would return money). Pots and pans provided are way too small to cook diner. We had to cook diner in 3 batches. The coffee machine doesn't even work. There is a vacuum, but it is not charged and no charger left at the property to be able to use it. Towels provided are of very poor quality, we ended up buying some towels from Target for $10 which were better than the ones we were provided. The night that we checked-in the house wasn't properly cleaned from previous check out. All the rubbish cleaned was just pushed under the bed, it was so gross and filthy under the bed. Carpets weren't vacuum, lots of hair still on carpets. Upstairs carpet stained with dog/cat wee. We think that the bedsheets weren't changed as it was stained with wee, even the mattress protector was stained with wee. The bathrooms floors weren't mopped as well as you could still see dirty footsteps. Main living area, very dusty, again there was rubbish left under the couch and bottle lids under table. The Stair rail was also broken, with a screw sticking out which is a potential hazard to kids. It definitely wasn't a 5-star experience and didn't feel comfortable like being at home.
