Perfect spot for any group! The building has three separate apartments, which worked great for our group of four. Renting the whole place gives you three keys, so everyone can come and go freely — ideal for exploring Tokyo at your own pace. I stayed with 3 other friends and we never felt cramped, and the 3 keys gave us the flexibility to come and go as we please. One unit has a larger living room and TV for group hangouts. The first-floor and 201 units have split beds. Each apartment includes a small kitchen, full bathroom, and washer/dryer combo. Unit 201 even has a cute little balcony. Located in quiet, authentic Kyojima, it’s a lovely glimpse into local life — much better value than a hotel. The villa sits between three convenient train stations: Hikifune / Keisei-Hikifune, Oshiage (Skytree), and Omurai. Each connects to different lines, so expect to switch between companies. All are about a 10–15 minute walk. Oshiage Skytree Station: easiest route, best for first-timers to get to/from the unit. Pay attention to small streets. On Google Maps, even tiniest of Japanese streets sometimes are shown as major streets. Hikifune/Keisei-Hikifune Station: best late at night Omurai Station: great during rush hour to escape the crowds, with charming two-car local trains (no English announcements!) on a picturesque line running through the Kyojima area. Pro tip: get an IC card (PASMO or SUICA). It works on nearly all train lines in Tokyo and most of Japan — super convenient for travel anywhere. Local cafe recommendations for early mornings, just a short (~10-15min) walk away - Cafe NORAKURO (open early ~8am, very cute, friendly to foreigners); PERTH Cafe (open early, friendly to foreigners, delicious). Conbini (convenience) store food is also really good (sandwiches) if you're starving and have no time. There are 7/11s, LAWSON and FAMILYMART nearby. Open 24/7.

NOTE: None of these are actually issues - just very minor notes to be aware of! All of japanese homes are very narrow, and go up high, this one is no exception. Expect lots of narrow stairs. Unit 301 has stairs just to get up to the living area. Unit 101 is on the ground floor. Units 201/301 entrances are up the stairs. So distribute your group accordingly to their stair climbing comfort or whoever has heavy/most bags, those could take the lower unit. Or keep your luggage in the ground unit. The instructions for washing machine could be a bit better. The dryer function also really struggles with a lot of clothes, we had to dry clothes afterwards on the provided hangers. Really minor issues to be honest. Units 101/201 signs for the kitchen are slightly mis-translated. The original sign say to not use "entire kitchen" but the original japanese says "dont use the induction stove". If you have to cook, use the suite 301 kitchen, it is fully equipped. The TV menu is entirely in Japanese with no option to switch to English. Minor issue. Bring your HDMI cable to stream content from your device and I believe it also supported Airplay/Amazon Video. Remember to delete your account from the TV afterwards. There's a school playground nearby, so in mornings and around 5-6 pm you can hear kids, something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise. Otherwise its an extremely quiet, safe and beautiful area to be in.
