This property is value for money. Yes, the edges are a little unpolished but it does what it says on the tin. There a decent kitchen facilities with plenty of crockery. The dorm room as well as the communal areas were mostly clean. I only saw a bit of grime in the bathtub, which no one seemed to be using. Mya is a fantastic host that lives on-site and she did a great job at responding to any guests' needs.
The location isn't particularly central but Broadmeadows station is only a 15 minute walk away. The dorm room also didn't have a door which meant that any late night entrances from the other guests could be heard.

It has good laundry facilities which we used … a washing machine that washes and dries
The outside of the property was untidy and not too welcoming, without a street number, hedges overgrown. Could have been a bit more welcoming. Our beds were saggy at the edges. I fell over once as I turned while sleeping. One cannot sit on the edges of the bed for he or she will slide down
