About this house rental
The Tarn Valley begins in Saint-Juéry. Just a short distance from Albi, a gateway between the Albigeois and Carmausin regions, Saint-Juéry offers the best of both worlds: the charm of a small town in the countryside. A small town with a rich industrial history, Saint-Juéry was home to as many as 3,800 workers at the Saut du Tarn steel mills during World War I. The site closed in 1983, and its legacy is now preserved at the Saut du Tarn Museum. Founded in 1995 by former workers at the steel mill, the museum is first and foremost a place to explore an industrial epic spanning the 19th and 20th centuries. Saut du Tarn also marks the beginning of the Tarn Valley. Leaving Albi behind, you’ll discover a multitude of villages and castles along the river, nestled among meanders and plateaus: Ambialet, Trèsbas, Brousse. In the summer, you can go swimming at Les Avalats on the Tarn River, with its open-air café atmosphere. And of course, you’re right on the outskirts of Albi, home to its Episcopal City, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This detached house is located on the outskirts of Albi, in Saint-Juéry, right next to the Albaret sports complex. This house features a large 1,000 m² ornamental garden and a vegetable garden. A shed is also available to safely store a trailer, bicycles, or a boat. The owners live at the far end of the property. Inside, you’ll find: a fully equipped kitchen; a living/dining room with a TV; and three bedrooms, each with a 140x190 cm double bed. The house also includes a shower room and a separate toilet. Nearby, you can enjoy a pump track—perfect for biking, skateboarding, and scootering—offering activities for the whole family.
