Rooftop Alvor Apartment by Moje Holiday

The apartment is new, modern, and situated in very quiet surroundings, which made for a relaxing stay. Having visited Alvor and Albur Village for a number of years, we were already familiar with the apartments and were very pleased to stay here.

The apartment itself was clean; however, a little more attention to detail would have improved the overall experience. There was some pink mould/scum in the bathroom, and the carpet would benefit from a thorough clean. Our biggest disappointment was the rooftop terrace. It was covered in dust and bird droppings, and we had to scrub the sunbeds and dining table before we could use them, which is not something you want to be doing while on holiday. The cushions on the rooftop furniture were also stained and would benefit from being professionally cleaned or washed. We also noticed that the chimney stacks on the roof terrace appear to be extractor outlets for kitchens and bathrooms within the complex. At times, some of the odours were quite unpleasant and detracted from the enjoyment of the space. As the owner, I would be inclined to raise this with the management company to see whether anything can be done to improve the situation. We also found that the hoover and broom were broken. As respectful guests, we like to keep on top of basic housekeeping during our stay so that we can fully enjoy the facilities. It would be helpful if these items could be repaired or replaced for future guests. Finally, the towels provided were very thin. Upgrading to thicker, more luxurious towels would make a noticeable difference to guests' comfort. Overall, we had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope this honest feedback is helpful and allows what is already a lovely apartment to become truly outstanding. We would love to return in the future and look forward to seeing the apartment continue to improve.

We recently stayed at the Rooftop LV Apartment by MOJE Holiday and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, clean, and professionally managed holiday apartment in Alvor. The apartment is ideally located just a three-minute walk from the centre of Alvor, making it perfect for exploring the town, restaurants, bars, and local attractions. The apartment itself is extremely clean, modern, comfortable, and refreshing. Although it is a one-bedroom apartment, it comfortably accommodates up to four guests, making it ideal for couples, small families, or friends. The standout feature is undoubtedly the rooftop area, which is a real hidden gem. It offers excellent facilities, including a barbecue, sauna, jacuzzi, comfortable seating areas for drinks and snacks, and sun loungers for relaxing. It truly provides everything you need for a short break or an extended holiday. Whether you're planning a 2–3 night stay, a 5-night break, or even a 7–14 night holiday, this apartment offers excellent value and a fantastic base from which to enjoy Alvor. The communication after booking was prompt and professional, with all the necessary check-in information provided, including details for accessing the key safe.

However, there were a couple of issues during arrival. There are two key safes outside the main entrance, and the instructions state to use the lower safe. Unfortunately, another key safe had been positioned beneath the correct one, which caused some confusion and resulted in several minutes being spent trying to open the wrong safe. Once we accessed the correct key safe, we discovered that the front door key was missing. Although several contact numbers were provided, including one listed for emergencies, repeated calls and messages unfortunately went unanswered. Eventually, I sent an email and received a response within approximately ten minutes. The missing key was an unfortunate oversight, and the issue was resolved, but I would suggest that emergency contact numbers are monitored more closely and answered within a reasonable timeframe. One additional minor point worth mentioning is that one of the sliding doors in the bedroom was quite difficult to move, requiring a little effort to slide open and closed. This certainly did not affect our holiday or overall enjoyment of the apartment, but it may benefit from a simple adjustment to the lower runners or springs to allow the door to glide more smoothly. It is a very minor maintenance issue that could easily be resolved and would further enhance an otherwise excellent accommodation experience. Despite these minor issues, the apartment itself was excellent. The comfort, cleanliness, modern facilities, rooftop amenities, and superb location more than made up for the initial inconveniences. Overall, this is a fantastic apartment in an excellent location, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Alvor.
