Elegant 2 bed Penthouse in Leyburn

The Penthouse is stunning! Great use of layout, beautiful furniture and accessories - having two bathrooms is a great feature. It is in a fabulous position to explore Leyburn and surrounding areas. Plenty of free parking nearby.

Although the Penthouse is stunning it just needs fine tuning to be a perfect holiday spot. It was very clean but the communal hallway was a big let down with unboxed electrics (guessing recent improvement work completed?) and quite grubby with something sticky spilled on the access stairs that remained for the duration of our two night stay plus stair nose trims coming loose. Just one hand towel left between 4 guests (informed owner via booking but not rectified during our stay) and no light bulbs in the bedside lamps in one of the bedrooms. Another review had already pointed out it needs wardrobes as nowhere to hang clothes. None of these are huge things and didn't spoil our stay at all but are things the owner can hopefully sort for the next set of guests 🙂

The apartment was very well furnished and equipped to a very high standard

The stairs. Accepted it was a penthouse, but the stairs are quite narrow and steep. Standard of cleanliness was very good so chewing gum on bedside cabinet on arrival was not expected.
